The first thing that we were introduced to was a quote by Oliver Reichenstein. He states that “Web Design is 95% Typography”. This quote always reminds me how important words are and how the world web wouldn't exist without it.
"Web Design is 95% of Typography"

Willi Kunz is a renowned graphic designer known for his expertise in typography and design education. He has made significant contributions to the field of typography, particularly in the context of visual communication. Kunz's work has influenced and inspired countless designers around the world.
Tschichold was a graphic designer from the 20th century and was one of the first to reject the traditional use of fonts and started embracing sans-serif typefaces, geometric construction, and asymmetrical composition.
He also redesigned for “The Penguin Books” after fleeing his country due to World War ii, which was an incredibly popular book. He used symmetry for this design.
Typography is the art of designing with type, every designer must have thorough knowledge of typography. The success of designers is determined by by how well they are able to design with type.
The art of designing with type began in 1455, Johannes Gutenberg had perfected printing from pieces of type. The origins of the alphabet include Pictographs, ideographs, Greek alphabet, Roman alphabet, Phoenician Alphabet, the Alphabet, punctuation and small letters.
