For week 2 we started to learn about the Fibonacci sequence, this sequence means that each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers.
The sequence usually starts with 0 and 1, which will continuously lead to a greater number each time.
We used Point, Line and Plane to demonstrate the Fibonacci sequence as they increase in size. Below is what I decided to create with Point, Line and Plane.
The golden ratio is a mathematical concept that is often associated with the Fibonacci sequence. It is approximately equal to 1.6180339887. The golden ratio is considered aesthetically pleasing and is found in various forms of art, architecture, and nature. The Golden Ratio can also be seen in the work of Leonardo Da Vinci and forms of music.
The golden ratio and the Fibonacci sequence are related, the numbers used in the golden ratio is derived by the division of the numbers included in the Fibonacci sequence.
We also learned that this golden ratio is used in web design. This technique is used all around us and we don't even know it!
The rule of thirds is a compositional guideline used in visual arts, such as photography and design. It suggests that an image should be divided into nine equal parts by two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced vertical lines. The main elements of the image should be placed along these lines or at the intersections of them. This technique is believed to create a more balanced and visually appealing composition.
