This week we looked at the brief for our next project and Freelancing, this is something that we must consider as it is an option for career. If we decided to go down a freelancer route we must be aware of tender proposals, which will be an extremely important tool for protection of yourself and your work.
Freelancing is a way of working where individuals offer their services to clients on a project-by-project or contract basis, rather than being employed full-time by a single company. Freelancers usually have the flexibility to choose their own hours, clients, and projects, which means they are self employed and have control over their work life balance.
A Tender/ Proposal is a proposal or offer to provide goods, works or services at a certain price. Freelancers use a Tender Document to have legal evidence of an agreement between the freelancer and the client. This Document helps protect both you and the client by setting clear expectations for deadlines, charges, the details of work, and deliverables.
