After my interviews, I then created a user persona based off of the results I received from the user interview and the user questionnaire. This summarised all my finding into a personified user, including their needs and frustations. I aimed for this to be a visual space for the user needs and problems, therefore I can see what the most commonalities are. Below are the User Personas I had created.

This user persona, based of of my user interviews, was targeting the mother. Based off of previous research, we have discovered that typically the mother will receive more support than the father, which is obviously due to many factors and reasons. From the user persona, I have found that she experiences a lot of negative feelings, which is common. Certain emotions shared was intense anxiety, unecvitment for new pregnancy, uncertainty, unsupported, triggered, disconnected, and isolated.
She wants to feel reassured, considered by pregnancy apps, informed, less alone, connected to partner.

The next user person was based of fathers who have experienced pregnancy loss and are experiencing his wife being pregnant again. We have already gathered that fathers receive a lot less support during pregnancy loss which can lead to isolation, negative feelings and frustration.
From this user persona, it has been shown that he feels anxious, but compressed (bottles up his emotions), he feels guilty for feeling negative emotions, isolated, unsupported, powerless, and confused.
He wants to feel included, like he is useful, more informed, apart of a community, and understanding towards his wife.

I have completed a large chunk of user research so far, therefore I wanted to stop and include what I have learnt so far from this research. After looking through my findings, I have realised that a lot of the problems users have stem from lack of information, uncertainty, bad communication including partners and friends and family, lack of community or a space where users can feel confident to speak. There is also a clear gap in accessible knowledge and guidance, and support which adds to the stress and confusion many users experience. I will be continuing my research further, I just wanted a pit stop to jot down my current findings.
