For week 9, we were asked to present our final idea to our lectures, providing information such as the problem statement, the solution, the methodology etc. Basically just giving them an overall idea of how you are going to help solve this problem area. I was struggling to decide between two ideas, but eventually decided on an idea based of the strengths and scope of the idea. Below is the presentation that I pressented. The design and typography isn't the final design, it was just to decorate the slides, but I liked the overall design so I will keep this theme in mind.

Below is the feedback that I received from my lectures. Overall, it was very positive and they liked how thoughtful the idea was. They also agreed that there is a huge gap for help during grief targeting both individuals including the father, who is often neglected. One suggestion was because this app in a very sensitive area, I need to look into the actual needs of the users rather than just random features that might help. This includes lots of user research, getting into the methods that will benefit both partners. Another point that was brought up was how it is a struggle for dads to be able to communicate to their partner about their struggles as they don't want to compare their struggles with their wifes, so looking into features that could potentially help this.

After I completed the presentation, the feedback gave me a direction to follow, I need to complete more user research targeting both partners and really looking into what tools they need to help their situation. I am going to now be completing some more user research which includes empathy maps, user personas, user stories etc. Hopefully, after the user research it be be clear to me what the day to day problems are commonly with those struggling with pregnancy loss and who are pregnant again. My app will be a tool to help them along in their grief jourery together .
